About Colorscapes

Colorscapes is first and foremost about the poetry of color; a synthesis of the art of photography using a painterly approach. Each image begins with original photographs. Then, through a layering process, I create a print that is abstracted from nature, yet strives to maintain the integrity of her essence, disassociated from any specific reality. Colorscapes is a journey through shape, form, and content, and seeks to explore the power of color to engage the mind and heart of the viewer.
